Spring Fever in the Park: To welcome Spring, members of the Plymouth Community Chamber of Commerce, non-profit organizations, and community groups will participate in a "Spring Fever" space in Kellogg Park. These spring creations will be on display from April 3rd – May 6th. More details are available at plymouthmich.org.

New Trash & Recycling Cart Update
Expect new trash and recycling cart deliveries and continued collection of old carts specifically in Area D.
If you are interested in swapping your 65-gallon trash or recycling cart for a 95-gallon cart, please email [email protected].

Compost Collection Starts April 7th! (Runs through the week of December 1st)

  • Curbside Pickup: Place compost by 6:00 AM on your collection day (earliest noon the day before).
  • Acceptable Items: Grass clippings, leaves, branches, yard debris (NO sod, dirt, rocks, pet waste, potted plants).
  • Proper Containers: Use brown Kraft bags or marked cans ("X" or "Compost" sticker from 1231 Goldsmith).
  • Clearance Needed: Ensure 3 feet of space from obstacles; lids must close.

Enroll now! Citizens Academy – Spring 2025

Ever wonder how the Music in the Air Concerts are planned, what the inside of a police car looks like, how building permits are approved, or how the City determines which roads will be repaired each year? Learn all that and more during the City of Plymouth’s Spring 2025 Citizens Academy!  

Citizens Academy will be held on Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., starting April 9 and concluding on May 14. An optional Graduation Night will take place at the May 19 City Commission Meeting. More details are available at tinyurl.com/CityofPlymouthCitizensAcademy

Upcoming City Office Closure

City offices will be closed on Friday, April 18. Offices will reopen on Monday, April 21 at 8:00am. That night there will be a City Commission meeting at 7:00 p.m.
