The City of Plymouth sustained substantial damage during the overnight storms.  The northwest section of the city was hit hardest.  There are multiple power lines and trees down in this area of the city.  Extreme caution is advised.  There are also multiple reports of trees falling on houses in this section of the city.  Power is out in this area.

In the southwest area of the city, there are multiple reports of trash cans that have blown over and scattered trash throughout the neighborhood.  Again, there are reports of tree damage in this area.

In the downtown area, the power is out and some traffic signals are also out. There is also some tree damage in this area as well.

First responders for the City, including Police, Fire, and Municipal Services have all been responding to calls for service since approximately 2:30 a.m.  They are continuing to go call to call at this time.  Clearing streets of trees will be a priority, however power lines may be mixed in with tree debris, which will delay clearing some trees from streets.
