Penniman Wall Project

Work Begins: Monday, August 7, 2023 at 7:00 A.M.

Crews will be starting the retaining wall replacement project on Penniman Ave. between Harvey St. and Church St. Please ensure any vehicles parking on street are removed from the project area by 7:00 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2023 for crews to begin working.

Road Closure: Penniman Ave. from Church St. to Harvey St.

To allow crews to work safely and efficiently, Penniman Ave. will be closed to traffic in both directions. The designated detour route is Church St. and Harvey St. Signs will be posted to direct traffic through the detour route.

Local Access For Residents: Only from Harvey & Penniman

For the duration of the project, resident driveway access will be from Penniman & Harvey. Enter and exit will be allowed only at the Harvey & Penniman closure. Please be patient as crews will be working and access may be temporarily limited.

The road closure for both east and westbound traffic will be in effect during the demolition and construction phases, approximately 3 to 4 weeks total. The project is anticipated to be completed including restoration in mid-September.
