City Road Conditions as of 6:30 a.m.

As of 6:30 Saturday morning all Major Streets in the City are clear and wet, as they have been plowed and salted.  This would include, but not be limited to Main Street, Ann Arbor Trail, Penniman, Farmer, Starkweather and Church Street. City Department of Municipal Services crews have been working non-stop since the snow started falling yesterday afternoon.  Crews are currently clearing municipal parking lots, such as the Central Parking Deck.  Additional crews are working to clear all residential side streets at this time. 

City Fire Services has responded to more than 24 runs in the last 12 hours.  Calls for services ranged from wires down, flames at the rear of a house, trees on branches and more.  Residents are reminded to stay away from any downed lines and yellow caution tape.  There are also numerous branches down across the City, which has caused some power outages.  Check with the DTE Energy Outage Center for updates on power restoration.
