Citizens Academy will be held on Tuesday nights from 6:00 to 7:30pm, starting September 13th and ending on October 18th. During the weekly 1.5-hour sessions, participants learn about the responsibilities of City departments and the services they provide to the
community. Presentations and "behind-the-scenes" facility tours give participants a better understanding of the role local government plays in the quality of life that residents of Plymouth enjoy. Each session is held at a City facility, giving participants a true sense of what it's like to work in local government.
Departments include: City Manager/HR/IT, City Clerk/Finance, Downtown Development Authority/Community Development, Municipal Services, Police & Fire, and Recreation
