City Road Conditions Update at 9:00 p.m.

City Department of Municipal Services crews have been working since approximately 6:00 p.m. to treat the City's Major Streets with a road salt and brine combination.  All Major Streets in the city are clear, passable and wet at this time.  Crews continue to work as weather forecasters indicate that there is only a temporary pause in snowfall at this time.  

Crews will continue to monitor the situation during the overnight hours.  Residential side streets are snow/sleet covered at this time.  If you do go out tonight please use caution and drive safely.   If you have a four wheel drive vehicle, remember you also have a four wheel slide vehicle.  Leave plenty of space between you and the car in front of you.
