City Water Main Break on Forest Ave.

City of Plymouth Department of Municipal Services is working to repair a water main break on Forest Avenue between Ann Arbor Trail and Wing St. Water service will be interrupted for those on Forest Ave. between Ann Arbor Trail and Wing St. will repairs are being made. Drivers in the area will see detours and/or traffic shifts to ensure the safety of the crew while repairs are made.

Those residents/businesses in the surrounding area may see a slight discolored look in their water. This is the result of the naturally occurring sediments and minerals found in the water mains. The water system remains under pressure and safe for use. If you notice any discoloring in your water, please run the cold water tap only until it clear up; which should only be about ten minutes.
