Water System Work at Harvey & AA Trl

During the overnight hours contractors, city staff and engineers worked on upgrading the water system in the intersection of Ann Arbor Trail and Harvey.  Crews did this work overnight to avoid significant water shut downs during the daytime.   

Whenever crews work on the water system there is a possibility of "rust colored" water in the system as there is a reversal of the water flows in the pipes.  The water system is safe and secure.  If you experience any colored water this morning, simply run the cold water tap in the house for a few minutes and it will clear up.  Again, the water is safe and secure.
