Fall Fest is upon us, but work continues on Harvey St. This week, crews were performing two important tasks; testing the water main for safety, and putting in a temporary roadway for the Fall Fest.

Harvey St. is currently open to both north and southbound traffic for this weekend. Motorists can access the parking deck at Fleet St. as well as the parking lot at Arbor Health. Just a reminder that the Lion’s Club will be helping manage the parking deck this weekend and will be collecting a $10 donation for parking.

The water main has passed all of its required testing and crews will be back on Monday to begin connecting it to the water system. On Monday, Harvey St. will be back to reduced traffic as crews will be working at the entrance to Fleet St. as well as the entrance to the Arbor Health building. There will be signs and crews will be on site to assist in directing traffic. Please be patient and cautious in the construction area.
