Mill Street (North) Railroad Crossing Closed due to accident

This is to advise drivers that the Mill Street (north) Railroad Crossing in the City's Old Village area remains closed.   This closure is due to an earlier traffic accident on the railroad tracks that disabled the crossing arms and warning alerts.  CSX Railroad has multiple crews on site working to make repairs and replace the warning equipment.  

Drivers should also be advised to expect longer than normal train delays in the City of Plymouth until CSX Railroad can complete repairs to the Mill Street crossing equipment.  Trains that must travel in the accident area will need to proceed at a very slow pace, which may cause additional backups at the following crossings:
         * Farmer Street
* Starkweather
* Holbrook
* Main Street
* Ann Arbor Trail
* Mill Street (south)
* As well as potentially other crossings in Plymouth Township
