City Commission Meeting Summary - February 1

The Plymouth City Commission took action on three items related to the new Wilcox Fountain in Kellogg Park at the February 1, 2021 regular meeting held via zoom.us. These new approvals and agreements with the City allow for the Wilcox Family Foundation to move forward with construction plans for the new fountain in Kellogg Park. Construction is expected to begin this spring/summer.
The City Commission adopted Strategic Plan one-year tasks for 2021. The updated plan can be found at www.plymouthmi.gov.
The City Commission approved traffic order 20-3 that changed some parking restrictions on the Fleet Street alley surrounding the Central Parking Deck. Recommendations for the change came from downtown business owners and were implemented by the Department of Municipal Services.
The City Commission also approved 2nd Quarter Budget Amendments and the Wilcox Wednesday Music in the Park concerts for summer of 2021.
